Dax Harwood reflected on the Double Dog Collar match from Final Battle, calling it his “masterpiece”.

The match between FTR and The Briscoes at Final Battle last Saturday was the climax of their one-year program that was highlighted by a three-match series spanning the three Ring of HGonor pay-per-view events this year.

Harwood added that the next year would be “unknown territory” for himself and Cash Wheeler. In a recent interview with Fightful, Harwood stated that he believed their deals with AEW were up at the end of April and noted the potential of taking a year off from wrestling on TV and taking matches that excite them elsewhere.

The Double Dog Collar match was universally praised and received 5 ½ stars in the current issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter with readers voting it unanimously as the match of the show.
