One of Dragongate’s talents to be out of action for the foreseeable future.

At Dragongate Japan Pro-Wrestling’s 12/19 event in Chiba, former Open The Triangle Gate Champion U-T went down with an injury.

It was initially described as a left leg injury but an examination revealed that U-T suffered a ruptured MCL. Dragongate posted the following note on their website:

U-T injured his left leg at the Chiba show on 12/19. As a result of examination, he has been diagnosed with a rupture of the medial collateral ligament and will be out of action for the time being.

We apologize for any concern this may cause to fans, and ask for their understanding.

The 29-year-old U-T has been working with Dragongate since the beginning of his career in 2013.
