Pro Wrestling NOAH has added several matches for its New Year 2023 card on January 1st.
The event at Nippon Budokan will include Shinsuke Nakamura being sent by WWE to face The Great Muta as part of Muta’s farewell tour.
On Friday, several challenges were issued at NOAH’s final event of 2022 to set up matches for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight & the GHC Jr. Heavyweight tag titles on the show.
New junior heavyweight champion AMAKUSA will defend the championship against the returning Junta Miyawaki, who has been wrestling in Mexico for the past six months.
The card will also see new junior heavyweight tag champions YO-HEY & Kzy make their first title defense on 1/1 against Yoshinari Ogawa & Eita after the latter issued a challenge on Friday’s show.
The event will stream on Wrestle Universe on January 1st at 4 a.m. ET with the following matches:
