After weeks of back and forth between the two parties, it is official that on January 10th, Indus Sher (Sanga & Veer) are facing The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) at New Year’s Evil.

Closing out the 12/27 NXT on USA Network was Wes Lee successfully defending the North American Championship against Tony D’Angelo. D’Angelo was distracted when Dijak snatched up Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo from ringside and dragged him near the entrance area.

Toxic Attraction now consists of Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne seeing as how Mandy Rose is no longer with WWE. There was a video that aired featuring Jayne and Dolin and they expressed that they are coming after NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

As Cora Jade versus Wendy Choo was taking place, Booker T namedropped the Freelance Wrestling independent promotion in Illinois where Jade wrestled as ‘Elayna Black’ prior to signing with WWE. Jade lost her match to Choo.

The following announcements were made for NXT’s live episode on January 3rd:

  • Extreme Resolution Match (Anything Goes): Alba Fyre vs. Isla Dawn
  • Grayson Waller Effect with NXT Champion Bron Breakker
  • Trick Williams vs. Axiom
  • Carmelo Hayes vs. Apollo Crews
  • Charlie Dempsey vs. Hank Walker

A singles match between Fallon Henley and Kiana James took place to determine who gets control of the Henley family bar. Henley secured the victory to keep her family’s property.

Lyra Valkyria continued her winning ways by scoring a win over Lash Legend.
