AJPW President not surprised by Jake Lee’s NOAH appearance, hopes he’ll wrestle in All Japan again someday

All Japan Pro Wrestling President Tsuyoki Fukuda addressed Jake Lee's departure and his arrival to Pro Wrestling NOAH

Fukuda had been aware of Jake’s intentions since the summer of 2022. 

To kick off the new year, former AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion Jake Lee arrived to Pro Wrestling NOAH after his contract with AJPW expired

All Japan held their first show of 2023 on January 2nd. To start off, company President Tsuyoki Fukuda was joined in the ring by members of the AJPW roster. A recap of his comments were written up by Tokyo Sports and he addressed Jake’s arrival to NOAH. 

Fukuda hopes Lee becomes a bigger wrestler and increases his presence. He added that he hopes Jake will one day wrestle for All Japan again. 

He was not surprised by Jake’s appearance because he had been in discussions with him since the summer of 2022 and was aware of Jake’s intentions. 

Lee is scheduled to be in action for NOAH on January 8th.
