Mercedes was back at the dojo for the first time since 2019.

At Wrestle Kingdom 17, Mercedes Moné f.k.a. Sasha Banks made her New Japan Pro-Wrestling debut by confronting and taking out KAIRI to set up their IWGP Women’s Championship match at Battle in the Valley on February 18th.

While in Japan, Mercedes returned to the Sendai Girls’ dojo and she posted the images on her Instagram story. She was last photographed there in the summer of 2019 when she was not actively on the road with WWE.

Mercedes worked out with Meiko Satomura, Chihiro Hashimoto and Dash Chisako among others. She also visited the Pro Wrestling NOAH dojo and got in the ring with Naomichi Marufuji.

The last time Moné was in a sanctioned match was in May of 2022. POST Wrestling recapped Mercedes’ NJPW debut and that clip can be found on our YouTube channel
