Kurt Angle’s 11-year-old daughter saved his life during a recent jet ski incident.

The Olympic gold medalist and WWE Hall of Famer explained what occurred on the latest episode of the Kurt Angle podcast where he nearly drowned.

Angle was on vacation in Miami with his family and was riding a jet ski with his daughter Giuliana on the back of the jet ski.

Angle said he attempted to make a turn without using the accelerator which caused the jet ski to flip and both landed in the water and separated fifty feet from the jet ski.

Angle noted he can’t swim and said his life jacket was not stabilizing him above the water. His struggle was compounded by limited strength in his arms due to his neck damage and was pulled to the jet ski by Giuliana. She hoisted him onto the vehicle as he remarked that she saved his life.

It was a scary situation with Angle noting if it was one of his younger children, they wouldn’t have been able to save him and he wouldn’t have been able to save them, so luckily a tragedy was averted.

In the same episode, Angle discussed his experience taking part in The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia in April 2018 and the money attached to working those events.
