An update on Johnny Gargano.
As the January 9th edition of Monday Night Raw was taking place, commentator Kevin Patrick stated that Johnny Gargano is currently out of action with a grade 2 AC sprain.
Cameras then cut backstage to Gargano’s significant other, Candice LeRae, who reiterated the information about Gargano’s injury an added that he was supposed to be in a Tag Team Turmoil match.

I injured my shoulder at a live event in Toronto (ironic?), and the medical team is going to protect me from myself for a bit.. but you better believe I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can to get back in that ring so I can be that guy you all know I can be. Just let me in that Rumble!

Gargano was last in action at a house show on December 30th. On television, he’s been paired with Dexter Lumis throughout Lumis’ program with The Miz.
