WWE has stated that this year’s two-night WrestleMania 39 event will set the company’s all-time gate record.

The press release issued on Monday states that the figures for the April 1 & 2 event at SoFi Stadium will eclipse the previous record of $17.3 million set in 2016 for WrestleMania 32 at AT&T Stadium in Texas.

It is important to emphasize that the 2022 & 2023 editions of WrestleMania are two-night events with the combined gate figures being compared with singular-night events prior to the pandemic.

Ariel Helwani reports that the gate figure for WrestleMania 39 is in excess of $18 million with nearly three months until the show.

The latest figures from WrestleTix show that 49,584 tickets have been distributed for the first night on April 1st and that 50,114 are out for the second night at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
