After being off NXT TV since September, Tyler Bate is scheduled to return to the program on 1/17. He last competed on 9/14 and fell in defeat to J.D. McDonagh in a number one contender’s match for the NXT Championship.
Jinder Mahal came back to NXT and aligned with Sanga. Mahal and Sanga ambushed The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) and later in the show, Jinder defeated Julius in singles competition.
There was a singles match between Dijak and Tony D’Angelo to determine the next challenger to Wes Lee’s North American Championship. Dijak was victorious in the match.
