A new Netflix series titled Contra Las Cuerdas (Against the Ropes) is scheduled to premiere on the service on January 25th. The synopsis for the show reads as followed:
Released from prison, Ángela tries to regain the respect of her daughter, who loves lucha libre wrestling, by entering the ring as a mysterious persona.
Among those who appear in the series is Rey Mysterio Jr. WWE promoted the series trailer which included a scene with Mysterio.
