Mercedes Varnado has joined the cast of the upcoming action-thriller ‘The Collective’ alongside Paul Ben-Victor.

Deadline reports that the former WWE star has joined the cast of the film, which is being produced by Yale Entertainment and includes Don Johnson, Lucas Till, Tyrese Gibson, and Ruby Rose.

The film has already completed shooting and features a group of assassins known as ‘The Collective’ fight against a group of human traffickers that are financed by billionaires.

This will be Varnado’s largest role since appearing in Disney’s The Mandalorian.

After leaving WWE, Varnado debuted for New Japan Pro Wrestling last week at Wrestle Kingdom 17 to set up a match with KAIRI at Battle in the Valley on 2/18. After the match was made official, the San Jose Civic sold the remaining tickets for the show with several hundred sold after the match announcement.
