A mixed martial arts rules match is set for the KOPW Championship this Sunday.
Due to the results of an online poll, Shingo Takagi will defend the KOPW Championship against Great O-Khan in a mixed martial arts rules match.
Over 29,000 votes were cast with 60.7 percent voting for the MMA rules match compared to 39.3 percent for the 30-count fall option.
Takagi and O-Khan will headline this Sunday’s New Beginning in Nagoya event at Dolphin’s Arena with the stipulation match.
The card will stream live on New Japan World on Sunday morning (late Saturday) at 2 a.m. ET with the following card:
