During tonight’s NXT on USA Network broadcast, Vic Joseph and Booker T commented on the passing of 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champion Jay Briscoe. Both Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and Shawn Michaels sent their condolences.

Scheduled for the 1/24 NXT is Katana Chance and Kayden Carter defending the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships in a Handicap match against Alba Fyre.
Earlier in the night, Fyre went one-on-one with Sol Ruca and as a result of being distracted by Isla Dawn, Ruca scored a win over Alba.

Thea Hail scored her first victory on NXT TV and she did so by defeating Valentina Feroz. Near the conclusion of the bout, Elektra Lopez came to the ring and handed Feroz brass knuckles. Feroz opted not to use the weapon.
To honor Thea’s first win, Chase University is celebrating her on the January 24th NXT.

As Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Tony D’Angelo were walking a bridge, D’Angelo promoted ‘Stacks’ to the position of underboss. They were on the same bridge that Cole Karter f.k.a. Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan was ‘thrown off’ following his departure from WWE. D’Angelo tossed two dimes over the bridge in the segment.
Due to comments made by Tiffany Stratton about the NXT women’s division, she was ‘banned’ from the locker room. Indi Hartwell delivered that news to Stratton and next week, they’ll be going one-on-one.
At Vengeance Day, Roxanne Perez is defending the NXT Women’s Championship in a Triple Threat against Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction. In the main event of tonight’s program, Roxanne and Lyra Valkyria got the win over Dolin and Jayne. On 1/24, the competitors in the Women’s Title bout are meeting in a championship summit.
During NXT Champion Bron Breakker’s sit-down interview, he described his Vengeance Day opponent, Grayson Waller, as WWE’s version of Chael Sonnen, adding that he talks a big game and loses big fights.

Fallon Henley agreed to put her and Kiana James’ differences aside and they’ll be teaming up on NXT TV. In addition to that, Elektra Lopez is scheduled to take on Wendy Choo next week.
