Road Dogg speaks about the forthcoming Raw 30 event and looks back at a highlighted moment from the show’s history.

This coming Monday on WWE Raw, the company is celebrating 30 years of the weekly series. There are going to be two championship matches and the likes of The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella) and Ric Flair are scheduled to appear.

WWE’s Senior Vice President of Live Events, Brian ‘Road Dogg’ James is advertised for the show as well and on his Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast, he mentioned that he is not aware of any creative plans but will gladly do what is asked of him.

It’s really cool to me. They’ve asked me if I’m available (for WWE Raw 30). They have not asked or suggested any creative or anything like that but I’m sure, look, whatever they suggest, I will do gladly and I will do to the best of my ability and I will try to make you laugh (podcast co-host) and probably no one else but as long as you laugh, I’m okay with that.

A moment from Raw’s history was when Mae Young ‘gave birth’ to a hand in the year 2000. The individual who played that role is Michael Kirschenbaum and James said he’s still on WWE’s creative team.

The ‘hand baby’ is always funny because the guy who was the hand baby is Michael Kirschenbaum and he was on the writing team… I know he’s still on the writing team (James laughed). So he was the guy. So we say, like, ‘Hey, this is the hand.’ He grew up to be on the writing team.

Becky Lynch versus Bayley in a Steel Cage, Austin Theory defending the United States Title against Bobby Lashley is set for Raw 30 in addition to The Judgment Day (Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio) challenging The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) for the Raw Tag Team Championships.
