Kross also shares that him and Scarlett were thinking about starting a family prior to their returns.

It has been five months since Karrion Kross and Scarlett made their returns to WWE after being let go from the company in November 2021. Kross is in middle of a storyline with Rey Mysterio and earlier this month, Scarlett competed in her first televised match for WWE

Kross is going to be in the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble and ahead of the event, he was interviewed by San Antonio Express-News.

He was asked about Vince McMahon being back in WWE as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. In reaction to it, Kross said those who he has spoken to, his personal friends are not concerned or afraid for their jobs and thinks everyone is ready to adapt.

It’s in my news feeds, it’s everywhere. It’s inescapable at this point. But the people that I have spoken to about it, like my personal friends in the business, no one’s really concerned or afraid for their job. All of us are ready to adapt… I think everyone’s just taking it day by day to see where everything lands, and we’re all trying to remain optimistic.

He further opened up about him and Scarlett’s WWE return. He recalled being informed of the plans by Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and being asked if they could be at the venue on a day-and-a-half notice.

Kross would go on to add that prior to coming back, Scarlett and himself were considering starting a family.

We had no idea what we were doing until about like, four or five o’clock. When Hunter told us, ‘You’re going to drop Drew by yourself.’ I was shocked. Almost nobody beats up Drew McIntyre by themselves — usually they do it in packs. You know what I mean? That’s where he’s at. I went, ‘Oh, wow.’ And then he told us, ‘You’re gonna drop an hourglass in front of Roman.’ And I went, ‘Holy cow.’ So, I knew we were off to a very good start.

He called us up and he said, ‘Do you want to come home?’ And I responded, ‘Well, like, yeah.’ And then he was like, ‘All right. Here is my next question. Can you be here in a day and a half?’ And my wife and I were like, ‘That’s pretty fast.’ We had our lives planned out. People don’t know this, but we were thinking about having a kid and starting a family. But we just kind of gave each other a look and were like, ‘Yeah, we can do that.’

Kross versus Mysterio is scheduled for the 1/27 Friday Night SmackDown on FOX
