Motor City Machine Guns defending STRONG Tag Titles at NJPW Battle in the Valley

Another championship bout added to the lineup for February 18th in San Jose, California

New championship match added to the San Jose show. 

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Battle in the Valley event on 2/18 is sold out and the company is pushing out matches for the event as it inches closer. 

The latest addition to the card is a STRONG Tag Team Championship match that will see the reigning champions Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) defend against West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson). 

Nelson and Isaacs approached Sabin and Shelley in a video released by NJPW. Motor City Machine Guns accepted the challenge and NJPW confirmed it. 

Here is the updated Battle in the Valley lineup: 

  • Kickoff Show: David Finlay vs. Bobby Fish
  • Kickoff Show: Alex Coughlin vs. J.R. Kratos
  • IWGP Women’s Championship: KAIRI (c) vs. Mercedes Moné
  • IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) or Shingo Takagi vs. TBA
  • STRONG Openweight Championship: Fred Rosser (c) vs. KENTA
  • Jay White vs. Eddie Kingston
  • Filthy Rules Fight: Tom Lawlor vs. Homicide
  • STRONG Tag Team Championships: Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) (c) vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson)
