Rampage began with The Elite defending their Trios Championships against Ethan Page, Matt Hardy, and Isiah Kassidy. This match continued the story of Ethan Page attempting to hog all of the glory from Hardy & Kassidy as The Firm still “owns” both of their contracts. At one point in the match, Hardy accidentally hit Page causing them to start arguing on the outside. This left Kassidy alone, looking for a tag but to no avail. Kenny Omega hit the One-Winged Angel and a triple-team BTE Trigger followed it up for the win. The Elite will face Top Flight & AR Fox in another Trios Championship match this Wednesday on Dynamite.

Lexy Nair interviewed Ricky Starks to get Starks’ reaction to the “Garcia/Guevara Gauntlet”. Ricky said he got what he asked for but it was okay with him because he would do anything to get to Chris Jericho.

A video package aired featuring Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Sanjay Dutt complaining about the Screen Actors Guild and AEW blurring out the Golden Globe on TV. We then cut to The Best Friends and Danhausen with Danhausen saying he got hit by a “Grammy” and that it would not happen again.

Next up was Brian Pillman Jr. vs Swerve Strickland accompanied by Mogul Affiliates (Parker Boudreaux and the finally named Trench). The finish saw Trench distracting the referee allowing Bordeaux to sweep the legs out from under Pillman. Swerve hit a Death Valley Driver on the ring apron followed by a flying stomp off the top rope for the win.

After the match, Swerve instructed Bordeaux and Trench to attack Pillman further but Dustin Rhodes made the save chasing the heels off with a metal turnbuckle.

A House of Black promo package aired that said the House didn’t want Eddie and Eddie didn’t want the House but every human being is corruptible.

Toni Storm and Saraya defeated Robyn and Charlette Renegade. After the match, the pair took spray paint from under the ring and painted an “L” on each of their victims.

An Adam Cole promo package aired with him saying he doesn’t know who his first opponent will be but they will get “the best damn pro wrestler on the planet”.

The main event featured Rush vs. Christopher Daniels. This was positioned as Rush needing to get through Christopher Daniels in order to face Bryan Danielson this Wednesday on Dynamite. Preston Vance and Jose the Assistant were heavily involved in attacking Daniels behind the ref’s back until Vance accidentally kicked Jose allowing Daniels to gain the advantage. It was all for naught, however, as Rush would score the victory after hitting the Bull’s Horns.
