House of Glory – The Beginning

The show started with a ten-bell salute for former HOG Tag Team Champion Jay Briscoe who had his last match here for House of Glory on December 17th, as the entire HOG roster stood on the stage.
01: HOG Tag Team Championship: The Mane Event (Midas Black & Jay Lyon) (c) vs. The Bookers (Amazing Red & BXL)
The Bookers (wearing their own versions of the HOG tag team titles) started the main show with a promo saying guys like Ricochet & Will Ospreay stole all their moves from Amazing Red and that the Mane Event had to wait for this match, just to attack them from behind to start the match. Mane Event had the match won until Red used a chair on Lyon to get disqualified.
Winners: The Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black) by DQ at 10:06, to retain.
The Bookers kept using the chair until Violette ran out to stop them. They teased using the chair on her before leaving.
02: HOG Cruiserweight Championship: Mighty Mante (c) vs. Nolo Kitano
They started fighting before the bell rang outside the ring against the barricades and in the crowd. Kitano’s masked henchmen kept distracting the referee as he kept trying to use his sword on Mante. As the referee was trying to eject the henchmen, Kitano spits in one of their faces by accident with mist. Mante followed with a choke slam and the Code Red for the win.
Winner: Mighty Mante by pinfall at 7:36, to retain.
03: HOG Women’s Championship: The Ultra Violette (c) vs. Viva Van
First time seeing Viva Van live, but have seen her a bunch on AEW Dark. Good reaction from both ladies here, as they went back and forth until Violette was able to reverse Van into a roll-up of her own for the pin.
Winner. The Ultra Violette by pinfall at 11:09, to retain
The new stable of Smoothe Blackmon, Michael Fain, and Kiki Van Gogh came out and presented themselves as The Black Hand and are here to make a statement.
04: HOG Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contenders Six-Way Scramble Match: Encore vs. Darren Richardson vs. Raheem Royale vs. Ichiban vs. Smiley vs. Lio Rush
Lio Rush with a surprise return in his first match here in HOG since 2017, came out to a big reaction. This was wild and never stopped with the action, finish came with Encore hitting Royale with an STO for the win.
Winner: Encore by pinfall at 13:20, to become the new #1 Contenders for the HOG Cruiserweight Championship

05: Low Ki vs. Detective James (w/ Detective Scarlett Meidan)
A bunch of police shenanigans here with James putting handcuffs on Low Ki and then taking out the referee by accident with a taser. Low Ki followed with a top rope double stomp as Joey Silver came out in disguise as a referee to make the three count
Winner: Low Ki by pinfall at 9:58
They announced that KUSHIDA will be making his HOG debut at their next show in NYC on March 10.

06: HOG Crown Jewel Championship: Charles Mason (c) (w/ Carlos Ramirez) vs. Bryan Keith
This match got wild with them taking it into the crowd and up in the commentary section where Keith tossed Mason off the elevated floor before he dove onto him. As Ramirez on the outside distracted the referee, Mason choked Keith with an illegal object until the referee saw Keith passed out and stopped the match.
Winner: Charles Mason by referee stoppage at 17:43, to retain
Mason and Ramirez kept attacking Keith after the match.
07: HOG Heavyweight Championship: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. JTG
Great back and forth action here in the main event that had everyone into it. Ended with Fatu hitting his top rope moonsault for the pin.
Winner: Jacob Fatu by pinfall at 12:02, to retain
House of Glory returns on March 10.
