Genichiro Tenryu to make first public appearance since undergoing spinal stenosis surgery

It'll be Genichiro Tenryu's first public appearance since September 2022

It’ll be Tenryu’s first public appearance in months.

In early September 2022, Genichiro Tenryu was hospitalized due to a cervical spinal cord injury. It was later determined that Tenryu’s official diagnosis was spinal stenosis associated with dislocation of the vertebrae.

Tenyru underwent surgery the week he received the diagnosis.

On February 19th, there is going to be a Legends Summit hosted by the Japan Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame and Tenryu is scheduled to appear. It’ll be his first public appearance since the surgery. As of the video recording that Tenryu sent in, he was still in the hospital.

Tenryu will be part of a talk show with Tatsumi Fujinami and The Great Kabuki.
