Lawler is recovering in the hospital.
It was first reported by PWInsider that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler was hospitalized after suffering a ‘medical episode’ while at his home in Florida.
Lawler was recently featured on WWE programming as a part of the Royal Rumble 2023 Kickoff panel.
Memphis, Tennessee television station WMC Action News 5 wrote that Lawler is recovering after having a stroke. The outlet noted that Lawler underwent surgery and is recovering at a hospital in Florida.
The Memphis native is still active in the ring. He wrestled on January 23rd in North Carolina.
