WWE NXT notes: Jacy Jayne attacks Gigi Dolin, Meiko Satomura returning, North American Title match

Jacy Jayne attacks Gigi Dolin, Meiko Satomura coming back to NXT, Wes Lee's open challenge, Bron Breakker & Grayson Waller returning

Closing out the 2/7 NXT on USA Network was Bayley hosting her ‘Ding Dong, Hello’ segment with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne as guests. The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions bickered with one another following their loss(es) at Vengeance Day. It then appeared as if they made up when they began discussing the idea of going after Bayley’s groupmates, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, who are holding the WWE Women’s Tag Titles. The segment closed with Jacy attacking Gigi.

There is going to be a North American Title defense by Wes Lee on 2/14. He’ll be hosting an open challenge. A video package aired during tonight’s broadcast to promote Lee and it featured his wife, Erica.

Former NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura will be in action on the 2/14 NXT for the first time since September which was a singles match against Roxanne Perez. Next week, Satomura is going to be tagging with Perez to face Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.

Satomura’s return is not the only return scheduled for next week. NXT Champion Bron Breakker will be appearing in addition to Grayson Waller coming back off his ‘suspension’ for confronting Shawn Michaels after Vengeance Day. Grayson is taking on Tyler Bate in singles competition.

After Apollo Crews’ loss to Carmelo Hayes at Vengeance Day, he was consoled by Dabba-Kato, who then proceeded to ambush him. Katto scored a win over Dante Chen on NXT and post-match, he said Crews knows why he ambushed him.

There was a segment featuring Thea Hail and Tiffany Stratton. The Schism’s Ava Raine abducted Hail and later in the show, Hail came running back to Andre Chase and Duke Hudson during their tag match. Hail’s appearance drew the attention of Hudson, who left Chase to be defeated by Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).

Alba Fyre is now paired with Isla Dawn after being engaged in a feud with one another. Fyre accompanied Dawn to the ring for her match and victory over Tatum Paxley.

Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher (Veer & Sanga) made their intentions clear. They want to hold championship gold in NXT.
