Brian Myers accidentally cost Cardona a title match, No Surrender four-way takes shape, Steph De Lander's debut, Mickie & Tommy pick up win

The main event of the February 9th IMPACT on AXS saw Matt Cardona challenging Joe Hendry for the Digital Media Championship. While the referee was down, Cardona’s tag partner, Brian Myers, got involved and attempted to take out Hendry but accidentally gave a lariat to Cardona which resulted in him losing. After the match, Moose tried to line Hendry up for a spear but ended up tackling Cardona.

Earlier in the show, Myers secured his spot in a number #1 contenders match at No Surrender. Thus far, Myers and PCO have qualified for the four-way and the final two spots will be determined by way of Steve Maclin versus Rhino in addition to Eddie Edwards versus Heath. The winner of the four-way will have earned a world title match.

Steph De Lander made her IMPACT in-ring debut and fell in defeat to Jordynne Grace.

There was a mixed tag match that saw Tommy Dreamer and Knockouts World Champion Mickie James best The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch). Post-match, Bully Ray ambushed Dreamer and James was taken out by her No Surrender opponent, Masha Slamovich

In addition to the number one contenders matches on 2/16, the following bouts are scheduled for the show:

  • Chris Bey vs. KUSHIDA
  • Kenny King vs. Rich Swann
