Jerry Lawler out of ICU, returning home for outpatient rehab

After suffering a stroke earlier this week, Jerry 'The King' Lawler is on the mend and is now out of the ICU

An update on Jerry Lawler. 

On Monday, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler suffered a stroke in Florida and he underwent surgery. He has been recovering in a local hospital and via an update from his personal Twitter, Lawler is now out of the ICU. 

It is noted that he’ll be heading back home to start outpatient rehab for his limited speech and cognitive skills. Lawler’s doctors are hopeful for a full recovery. 

The 73-year-old Lawler was a part of the 2023 Royal Rumble Kickoff panel. He wrestled on January 23rd in North Carolina for an independent promotion.
