Paul Wight is hopeful to be good to go in March.

51-year-old Paul Wight joined All Elite Wrestling in February 2021. On top of being of assistance backstage to the younger talents, Wight commentates for AEW and has wrestled for the company on several occasions.

The last time he was in action for AEW was during a Dark: Elevation taping in early 2022. ‘Metro’ caught up with Wight for an interview and he told the outlet that he got a knee replacement in August. When it comes to an in-ring return, he’s hopeful to get back in the ring next month.

You know, there’s been some setbacks personally. I mean, I’ve had a couple of injury setbacks, had to get a knee replaced in August. That knee was bad for 12 years, so it could’ve gone any day! It’s like kind of like that tire on your car that you know you should change but keep driving anyway. But we’re good now, and hopefully we’ll be back in the ring in March. Everything’s on schedule, so we’re looking good!

Wight celebrated his 51st birthday on February 8th. To hear a review of the 2/8 AEW Dynamite, head over to this link
