Before heading into Stand & Deliver, the NXT brand has their ‘Roadblock’ special on March 7th which is airing on the USA Network.

It is official that on 2/21, Bron Breakker is going to defend the NXT Championship against Jinder Mahal, who back in 2012, made it to the finals of a tournament to crown the first-ever NXT Champion.

Closing out the program was Meiko Satomura and NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez besting Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. Post-match, Satomura stated that she did something for Perez and now she’d like Perez to return to the favor. The champion immediately agreed to the idea of defending her title against Meiko.

After Grayson Waller suffered a loss to Tyler Bate, he went to the backstage area and engaged in an argument with Shawn Michaels. Waller was removed from Gorilla Position by Matt Bloom.

Toxic Attraction is no more and Jacy Jayne officially ended up the group when she ambushed Gigi Dolin. Jayne appeared on tonight’s show to explain her actions. She stated that she’s the last woman standing from the most dominant female faction in NXT history. Jayne had a new theme song as well. Jacy is scheduled to take on Indi Hartwell next week.

At the start of the show, there was a graphic put up for the late Jerry Jarrett

The reigning North American Champion Wes Lee issued an open challenge for the title. Coming out first was Tony D’Angelo, but Dijak prevented him taking on the challenge and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo got involved in their brawl. Wes ended up defending the title against Von Wagner and retained.

Drew Gulak accompanied Hank Walker to the ring for his match against Charlie Dempsey. Walker was submitted by Dempsey but post-match, Gulak left the ringside area alongside Dempsey.

After being ambushed by Dabba-Kato at NXT Vengeance Day and hearing Kato’s reasoning for why he did what he did, Apollo Crews addressed his former running mate.

Due to being distracted by members of The Schism, Thea Hail suffered a loss to Tiffany Stratton.
