NXT posted its highest figures over the past month while MLW Underground Wrestling dropped outside of the top 150 cable programs.
The February 14th edition of NXT averaged 640,000 viewers and approximately 201,000 (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic, ranking #17 among cable originals on Tuesday. (Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily).
It was NXT’s strongest performance since the New Year’s Evil special on January 10th.
From last week’s numbers, NXT’s viewership grew by 14 percent while the 18-49 audience was up by 42 percent with a large increase among both male and female audiences in the key demo.
In the 18-34 demographic, NXT hits its highest figure since December 13, 2022, which was the show coming off of the Deadline special and featured Roxanne Perez winning the NXT Championship from Mandy Rose. The demo audience was up 63 percent from the prior week including the women in the demo nearly tripling from the prior week.
Adults 35-49 saw a sizable increase of 26 percent but still lower than NXT has been averaging this year in the demo.
Adults 50+ grew from 0.33 to 0.35.
In Canada, NXT averaged approximately 86,000 viewers and 45,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360 and would make it the most watched episode of NXT since January 11, 2022.
The show featured Roxanne Perez teaming with Meiko Satomura in the main event against Kayden Carter & Katana Chance and a promo segment involving Jacy Jayne, who explained her actions after turning on Gigi Dolin last week.
MLW Underground Wrestling on REELZ saw a decline from its premiere the week prior.
Wrestlenomics reported that the show averaged 73,000 viewers and 21,000 (0.02) for the east coast airing along with 6,000 viewers and 3,000 in the 18-49 demo for the west coast airing later that night. From the week prior, they dropped 24 percent in viewership and declined 55 percent in the 18-49 demographic.
The show did not rank among the top 150 cable originals on Tuesday.
This week’s episode was headlined by a street fight between Mance Warner and Real1 from the Fightland tapings last October.
