Kota Ibushi has laid out the conditions that would be right for him to work with WWE.

According to Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ibushi said that he would “certainly” work with the company if he could be involved in the training of future prospects. He also wants to be involved in some big matchups.

The outlet reported the 40-year-old as saying:

If the WWE allowed him to also train & create the next generation of wrestlers at the performance center. Among having some high profile matches. He would most certainly work with WWE.

Earlier on Friday, Ibushi also answered the question of whether he had ever spoken with Tony Khan one on one.

He answered:

I spoke to Tony on Skype in 2018. Contract talk. But my dream was not money. My dream was to win the IWGP Heavyweight belt. This was because Shinya Hashimoto, who I liked, was my goal.

I was offered an enormous amount of money. At that time, my feelings did not move. Now I’m on my way to my next dream.

Ibushi is a free agent after his NJPW contract expired on February 1st. He is scheduled for his first GCW appearances over WrestleMania weekend at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport on March 30th and Joey Janela’s Spring Break on March 31st.
