Jay White appears to have wrestled his last match for New Japan Pro Wrestling after Eddie Kingston defeated him in a “Loser Leaves NJPW” match.

White had already suffered a defeat in a “Loser leaves Japan” match to Hikuleo at the New Beginning in Osaka event on February 11th.

After the match, there were “Thank you, Jay” chants from the crowd.

White was about to address the crowd when David Finlay made his way to the ring and hit him with a shillelagh, telling him, “F**k your era.”

During his NJPW career, White held the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, the IWGP United States Championship, and the NEVER Openweight Championship.

There has been unconfirmed speculation that White’s contract with New Japan was due to expire amid interest in his signing from both WWE and AEW.
