REPORT: Senior Vice President released by WWE

A high-ranking executive at WWE is no longer with the company following a report of their termination.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Operations & Strategy James Kimball has been terminated from the company.

Sapp reports that it was due to an HR violation that caused his immediate termination, although no further details of the violation are known yet.

Kimball previously worked with the UFC for nearly ten years and was its Vice President of Operations at the UFC Performance Institute before joining WWE in 2020.

The executive was heavily involved with WWE’s Next in Line (NIL) program with the recruitment of collegiate athletes for the WWE Performance Center and was a key figure in the WWE Campus Rush initiative and partnering with Exos.
