Tony Khan has confirmed a championship main event for the debut of the new Ring of Honor show on HonorClub.

On Twitter, Khan announced that ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli will defend his title against AR Fox on the show, which will stream next Thursday, March 2nd.

Khan commented:

The New Era of Honor will begin this Thursday with ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli defending the title vs. a man who cost him $100,000 at Christmas, AR Fox.

AR Fox was part of a team, also including Dante and Darius Martin, on the December 23rd episode of AEW Rampage, which featured a “Three Kings” trios battle royal.

The three winners each received $100,000 in storyline.

Fox’s team eliminated Castagnoli to win the match, after also defeating his Blackpool Combat Club stablemates Wheeler Yuta and Jon Moxley.

Ring of Honor held its first set of television tapings from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday evening.
