Yuya Uemura says “I’m good” after match was stopped during IMPACT tapings

Yuya Uemura has given a positive update after injury concerns over a match stoppage during IMPACT tapings.

The New Japan Pro Wrestling talent, who is on excursion in the United States, was wrestling Sami Callihan on February 25th in Las Vegas when the incident occurred.

The match was stopped after Uemura appeared to suffer an injury after a piledriver. Uemura was helped to the back.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday night, the 28-year-old stated that he was “good”.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the match will not air on IMPACT television.

Uemura was pulled from tapings on February 26th. It is not known how long he will be sidelined.
