Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machine Guns have won the GCW Tag Team Titles for the first time.

The current NJPW STRONG Openweight Champions defeated Ciclope & Miedo Extremo of Los Macizos on Sunday night.

They were taking part in the GCW Ransom event at The Carousel Room in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It marked their debut for the promotion as a tag team.

The win makes them dual title holders once more after they lost the IMPACT Tag Team Championships to Chris Bey and Ace Austin on the March 2nd episode of IMPACT! on AXS TV. That match was taped on February 25th

The team are next scheduled to appear for GCW in Montreal, Quebec on Saturday, March 11th at the ‘UnFnSanctioned’ show co-promoted with IWS.
