AEW owner Tony Khan addressed a range of topics in a press conference following the Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday night.

On the performance of the event, he said that pay-per-view buys were “trending” in the range of 130,000 to 140,000, which was higher than Full Gear in November 2022.

He added that the in-person gate was in the range of $800,000, with a paid attendance figure of around 8,000. Total attendance was approximately 9,000.

Khan said that the HonorClub streaming service had reached 12,000 subscribers with last week’s debut of the weekly Ring of Honor show. He later added that the subscriber total had more than doubled in recent weeks.

When asked about a potential AEW appearance by Mercedes Moné, he said that any wrestling company would be lucky to have her but would not talk about discussions due to respect for his partnership with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

On Kenny Omega’s contract status, Khan gave high praise to the star and simply said that he hoped that Omega would remain in AEW for a long time.

When asked for details on AEW’s impending UK debut, Khan said that progress had been made and restated that the show will be in London. He gave no further details but praised AEW’s relationship with UK broadcaster ITV.

Khan was then asked about MJF throwing water on a young fan at ringside. Khan said that he had met the young man, whom he named as Titus, and indicated that he would be a guest of AEW in Sacramento for Dynamite on Wednesday.

He said that he and MJF had a “serious talk”, and the incident was not to be taken lightly. MJF was on stage during this exchange. He stayed in character and sarcastically said he was “real worried” about the boy.
