AEW Rampage saw a major spike on Friday and posted its second-highest audience in the key demo this year.

The taped episode that aired on March 10 averaged 447,000 viewers and approximately 196,000 (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The show ranked #19 among cable originals on Friday with viewership experiencing a 13.5 percent increase while the 18-49 saw a major jump of 51 percent from the previous week’s live episode.

The strong number for Rampage came across plenty of college basketball games with AEW airing at the same time as TCU vs. Texas (997,000 viewers, 0.33 in the demo), a game on the Big Ten Network (955,000 and 0.24), and Clemson vs. Virginia on ESPN 2 (901,000 and 0.21).

Rampage finished behind Love After Lockup (498,000 and 0.20) but tied On Patrol Live (890,000 and 0.15).

It was Rampage’s second-highest 18-49 audience of the year behind the January 6 episode and the largest overall audience since January 27.

In the key demo, female viewership was up by 56.5 percent (highest since Jan. 27), and male viewership increased by 55 percent (highest since Dec. 23, 2022).

Adults 18-34 hit its highest mark since December 23, 2022, with a 120 percent increase over last week’s audience.

There were also large gains about the 12-34 demo with males up by 158 percent and females growing by 71 percent.

Adults 35-49 improved by 24 percent while adults 50+ were the only demo to experience a dip at five percent.

Rampage was taped two nights earlier in Sacramento and was headlined by Riho against Nyla Rose, and opened with a match between Sammy Guevara and Action Andretti.
