Sareee is officially a freelancer after leaving WWE, an agreement that began in 2021, and performing on NXT. She stated she is open to contract offers but also wants to wrestle freely.
She will be promoting her own event on 5/16 at Shinjuku Face and is in the process of assembling the card, including her own opponent for the show.
Sareee was grateful for her time in WWE and plans to apply a lot of what she learned in that system while also acknowledging a gap in the culture between women’s wrestling in Japan and abroad between sport and entertainment. She went out of her way to praise Tiffany Stratton as someone that worked hard at NXT to improve.
