The Young Bucks Attacked

The show starts showing an ambulance taking away The Young Bucks, as Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Don Callis and Brandon Cutler watching on. It was said that the Bucks were attacked earlier, as Page and Cutler left with them to go to the hospital.

Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin & Sting vs. Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade (w/ Penelope Ford)

They show footage from the House Rules Tour show from Troy, Ohio where Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy got attacked after their match with The Butcher & The Blade that lead to this six-man tag match. We have red, white & blue ropes now for the ring. Orange Cassidy (with a low effort face paint job that says O.C.) started the match with Sabian. Sabian sends Cassidy out of the ring almost right away, but Cassidy does it right back to him. The Butcher tags in, as Cassidy tags out to Sting who gets a good reaction. Sting no sells the clubs from Butcher before attacking him in the corner and hitting the Stinger Splash. Sting tries the Scorpion Deathlock, but everybody else runs in the ring. The Butcher & The Blade hit a double suplex on Sting, followed by a splash attempt from Sabian, as Sting rolls away. Sabian tries in another corner, but Sting rolls away ala Cassidy and tags out to Allin who hits the Code Red on Sabian for a two. Penelope Ford gets on the apron distracting the referee as the heels take advantage going to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Allin tags out to Cassidy who hits a diving crossbody to Sabian. While Sabian is celebrating, he turns around and Sting is there who attacks Sabian, Blade & Butcher before putting on the Scorpion Deathlock on Sabian. Butcher & Blade start punching at Sting and eventually break up the submission. Allin hits them with a double Coffin Drop off the ropes, but gets attacked by Sabian. Sabian and Cassidy go at it, before Cassidy dives to Blade on the outside. Allin takes out Sabian with a Stunner before diving to Butcher, as Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop to Sabian for the pin and the win.

Winners: Sting, Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy by pinfall at 11:19

As Cassidy puts his sunglasses on Sting, Cassidy is seen in the corner staring at the Double or Nothing banner.

We see footage from last weeks Re-Bar Mitzvah from comments from MJF, Allin, Jungle Boy & Sammy Guevara after it happened talking about the AEW World Championship.

We get a video package about the history leading to tonight’s dream match between Kenny Omega and El Hijo del Vikingo.

Excalibur says on commentary that Brandon Cutler texted him accusing the Blackpool Combat Club of attacking the Young Bucks.

AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) (c) vs. Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin)

Dante Martin and Austin Gunn start the match, but right away after being taken down, Austin tags out to Colten Gunn. Darius Martin tags right in as Top Flight stays in control and clotheslines The Gunns to the outside. As Austin distracts Aubrey Edwards, Colten snaps Dante’s neck on the rope as we go to a commercial break.

When we come back, Darius is in control attacking both Gunns, hitting Austin with a German and standing Spanish Fly on Colten for a two count. Dante hits the Nose Dive on Austin, but Colten breaks it up at the last second. Mike Bennett & Matt Taven run and start attacking Darius on the outside, which distracts Dante, who after saving his brother runs right into the 3:10 to Yuma from The Gunns for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) by pinfall at 7:00, to retain

FTR’s Career On The Line

Top Flight chases The Kingdom away, as FTR comes out to confront The Gunns. FTR says they want to discuss business, but The Gunns says nobody wants to hear them talk, as they are losers who lost to them and lost three sets of belts and nothing will convince them. Cash Wheeler says what about if they lose they could never challenge again, which The Gunns say no to. Wheeler then offers to break up if they lose, as Austin yells there is nothing they can offer them. Dax Harwood says if they can’t beat them and win the titles, they will quit AEW. Austin thinks it over and agrees to the stipulation. As they go to shake FTR’s hands, they spit in their faces instead.

Cease & Desist to Taya

We go backstage where Renee Paquette asks Jade Cargill’s reaction for Taya Valkyrie’s debut last week. Mark Sterling shows a cease & desist to Taya to no longer use ‘Jaded’ as her finisher (Road to Valhalla). Leila Grey offers to deliver the contract personally to Taya this Friday, as a match is made before they all laugh about Stokely Hathaway’s debut coming up.

No Disqualification Match: Hook vs. Stokely Hathaway

Stokely Hathaway gets on the mic and says that he isn’t medically cleared to compete and announces that he is retiring today and thanks all twelve of his fans as he hands Justin Roberts his doctor’s note. The note says ‘he’s sick’ as Roberts says it’s a receipt for Wingstop. Bryce Remsburg rips it up and starts the match, as Stokely right away runs into the crowd, but Hook runs right after him. Hook suplexes Stokely on the outside before sending him back into the ring. Hook pulls a guard rail from under the ring and sets it in the corner as The Firm is watching in the back saying they didn’t train for this. As Hook goes after Stokely, he sprays him with a fire extinguisher and tries to go after him with a chair. Hook takes the chair from him and uses it before suplexing him onto the guard rail in the corner. Hook stops short from pinning Stokely, before putting on Redrum as Stokely taps out right away.

Winner: Hook by submission at 3:16

Matt Hardy tells Ethan Page that he could be the one that beats Hook as Page tells Hardy to get the contract ready.

We see rapper Tech N9ne sitting in the crowd.

Who Will Be Adam Cole’s Opponent?

Adam Cole comes to the ring and talks how we are seven days away from Cole returning to the ring. Cole mentions all the questions including who will his opponent be on March 29th, but before Cole can say anymore he gets interrupted by Daniel Garcia. Garcia asks who’s ready for story time with Daniel Garcia and goes to update Cole on a few things as the crowd tells him to shut up. Garcia says that since Cole’s left he’s become a locker room leader and will not welcome him back, but put him in his place as well. Garcia continues to say what he’s done while Cole was home playing stupid video games and talks about how he beat Brody King, Ricky Starks & Bryan Danielson and main evented more AEW programming more than anybody on the AEW roster in the last year. Garcia continues and stops short from calling himself one of the best wrestlers, before correcting and saying sports entertainers and asks Cole what makes him so special.

Cole says when they ring the bell, that makes him special. He says he likes Garcia and someday he could be the guy that leads the charge in AEW, but his problem is the company that he keeps and The Jericho Appreciation Society has given him this false sense of security and even without wrestling in 9 months he is still Adam Cole. Cole said the whole time he was at home hoping for a second chance and he looks like he found the second chance and if Garcia is crazy enough to challenge him, then he’s on and this is not only his return match but a statement that one of the best pro wrestlers in the world is back. Cole says it’ll be a great night for the AEW fans, but not for Garcia.

Kenny Omega Needs to Focus

Alex Marvez is backstage and tries to get a word with Kenny Omega and Don Callis, as Omega says he’s worried about the Young Bucks. Callis says he sent Michael Nakazawa with them and them going in an ambulance could be the best thing to happen to Omega as now he could focus on his singles career and tonight’s match against El Hijo del Vikingo.

Jon Moxley (w/ Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs. Stu Grayson (w/ Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds)

Right away, Stu Grayson goes right after Jon Moxley in the corner, but Moxley turns it right around as they start trading chops in the corner. They go back and forth with shoulder blocks, before Moxley escapes to the outside, but Grayson quickly sends him back inside and takes him down with a hurricanrana. They fight on the apron, as Moxley sends Grayson flying to hit the barricade as they go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Moxley is in control as Excalibur reminds the viewers about Rampage being on Saturday this week. Grayson takes control and heads to the top rope but gets distracted by Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli, but as they argue with Dark Order, Grayson takes them out with a top rope moonsault. Grayson stays in control and hits a 450 Splash on Moxley for a two count. Grayson goes for the Nightfall, but Moxley reverses it into the Bulldog Choke. After transitioning to a choke, Grayson powers out and crashes Moxley into the corner with a cannonball to break it up. Grayson dodges the Paradigm Shift and hits a back flip kick before heading back to the top rope. Moxley meets him up there and rakes Grayson’s back, before hitting a headbutt and hits an avalanche Death Rider for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jon Moxley by pinfall at 10:05

Starks Challenges Juice

Renee Paquette is backstage with Ricky Starks and asks where he stands with Juice Robinson. Starks says he’s sick and tired of all this talk and challenges Juice this Friday on Rampage because he’s so sick of all of this and calls this the craziest thing he’s been part of his whole life and tells Juice to be a man or not, he doesn’t give a damn anymore.

QTV

We go to another episode of QTV as Harley Cameron talks about a hot new prospect in Rey Fenix and shows footage from last week that she took of Powerhouse Hobbs defeating him on Rampage as QT Marshall talks about how Penta El Zero Miedo didn’t even come out to help his brother and makes fun of Alex Abrahantes and they still make fun of Wardlow getting robbed as Aaron Solo talks about how it was him that hacked into Dave Meltzer’s Twitter and started posting about hotels. They mention Hobbs having another open challenge this Friday on Rampage as it’s announced he’ll be facing Penta.

Skye Blue vs. Toni Storm (w/ Saraya & Ruby Soho)

Sky Blue starts the match in control, taking Storm to the outside with a drop kick and follows that with a hurricanrana on the outside. Blue heads to the top rope, but Storm knocks her right down and knocks her off the apron with the hip attack where Saraya and Soho start attacking Blue. Storm places Blue by the ring post and starts chopping her, but Blue is able to move out of the way as Soho gets a shot instead as they go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Blue takes control, hitting Storm with a round house kick and a diving cross body. Blue hits a rising knee strike and an enziguri for two count on Storm. Storm stops a Code Blue attempt and hits a Tornado DDT for a two count. Blue blocks a hip attack attempt and hits the Code Blue, but Soho distracts the referee on the apron. They go back and forth a bit before Storm hits a shotgun dropkick and the hip attack in the corner. Storm follows with a German Suplex and the Storm Zero for the pin.

Winner: Toni Storm by pinfall at 8:15

The Outcasts continue to attack Blue after but before they can use their spray paint, Riho and Willow Nightingale run out for the save.

El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Kenny Omega (w/ Don Callis)

Justin Roberts resumes with his Kenny Omega facts including being undefeated here in Independence, Missouri and having a longer AAA Mega Championship reign than El Hijo del Vikingo (who came out with the title). Vikingo attacks Omega before the bell rings with two dives to the outside as Paul Turner has to stop them on the inside to officially start the match. Vikingo hits an Implosion Hurricanrana in the corner plus a corkscrew kick and a knee strike sending Omega to the outside as the crowd starts chanting this is awesome. Vikingo follows with a shooting star press to Omega on the outside. Vikingo follows with a 450 Splash on the inside for a two count. Omega comes back with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a two count. They head to the outside where Omega whips Vikingo into the barricade before grabbing a table from under the ring as we go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, they are exchanging chops on the apron before Omega hits Vikingo with a monkey flip. They head back to the apron where Vikingo reverses a Snap Dragon Suplex, and hits a Dragon Rana to Omega from the apron to the floor. They head to the top rope where Vikingo counters an Awesome Bomb with a hurricanrana followed by a Phoenix Splash from outside the ropes to the inside for a two count. Omega counters a spring boarding Vikingo and hits him with two power bombs and a V Trigger for a two count. Omega follows with a Snap Dragon Suplex and another V Trigger before lifting him up for the One Winged Angel, but Vikingo punches his way out and hits a diving poison rana sending Omega to lay on the table. Vikingo follows that with a 630 Splash to Omega through the table. They slowly roll back inside where Vikingo gets a two count. They go back and forth as Vikingo hits a sunset power bomb for another close two. Vikingo heads to the top rope and misses a 630 Senton, as Omega hits a knee followed by the One Winged Angel for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kenny Omega by pinfall at 16:53

Hangman, Don’t Hurt Me

Tony Schiavone heads to the ring to get a word with Kenny Omega who starts to say how he doesn’t know how much of this he can do anymore before he gets attacked from behind by the Blackpool Combat Club. We see an ambulance driving to the arena, as Adam Page steps out with weapon before heading to the ring with it and scares off the Blackpool Combat Club. Callis goes to grab Page who almost hits him with the weapon before realizing who it was and lets go. Callis falls to the floor as if he’s been attacked, as Omega gets up and starts yelling at Page thinking he attacked Callis. Callis starts saying ‘don’t hurt me’ and rolls to the outside, as Page looks disappointed that Omega would think that of him.
