A Maki Death Kill Open Challenge has been added to Joey Janela’s Spring Break next weekend.
GCW has provided an update for the 3/31 card in Los Angeles that will feature former GCW champion Nick Gage teaming with Maki Itoh for one night and issuing an open challenge.
Gage lost the GCW Championship last week in New York City to Masha Slamovich and will be his first match since dropping the belt.
Itoh, a regular with TJPW, debuted for GCW last August by defeating Dark Sheik at the ‘Homecoming’ event and has wrestled for the group multiple times. She last appeared on the shows in Atlantic City earlier this month where she beat LuFisto at ‘Holy Smokes’ and teamed with Rina Yamashita & VENY against Janai Kai, Sawyer Wreck & Billie Starks at ‘Ransom’.
Joey Janela’s Spring Break 7 takes place on 3/31 at the Ukrainian Cultural Center and will stream on Fite+ with the following matches announced:
*Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Hijo del Vikingo
*Joey Janela vs. Kota Ibushi
*GCW Tag Team Championship: The Motor City Machine Guns © vs. Nick Wayne & Jordan Oliver
