A new match has been added to the lineup for NJPW Sakura Genesis on April 8th

It is going to be a six-man tag. 

With New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Sakura Genesis event scheduled for April 8th, the match card is rounding out and there has been a new addition to the card in the form of a six-man tag. 

It is being branded as a Shinnichi Champion Grand Prix Celebration match. Below is the description from NJPW1972.com about how this match came to be. The participants in the match will be revealed as they make their entrance.

NJPW’s variety TV Asahi show Shinnichi Champion is celebrating finally winning the grand prize in a recent poll, one where the grand prize was a nationally broadcast TV special. During the special, much discussion was centered on classic entrance music, sparking this special match to start the night. This six man tag bout will have participants only revealed when they make their entrance, meaning that two wild combinations could be squaring off April 8!
