The feud between Johnny Gargano and Grayson Waller will come to a head at NXT Stand & Deliver as Waller agreed to face Gargano in an Unsanctioned match at the Premium Live Event.

To open NXT on USA Network, there was a Battle Royal to determine the final participant in the North American Championship five-way at Stand & Deliver. Axiom outlasted 19 other talents and last eliminated Nathan Frazer to secure his spot. He’ll be joining Dragon Lee, Ilja Dragunov, J.D. McDonagh and the champion Wes Lee on Saturday.
Eddy Thorpe made his NXT on USA in-ring debut. He scored a victory over Myles Borne.
The tension between NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kiana James and Fallon Henley continued to grow thicker as Kiana opted not to tell Brooks Jensen she’s cheating on him. Jensen and Josh Briggs had just lost a match that would have got them into the NXT Tag Team Title match at Stand & Deliver.
