The taped edition of NXT saw the show hit a three-week high going into its Stand & Deliver card this weekend.
The March 28th episode averaged 620,000 viewers and approximately 209,000 (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.
The show ranked #11 among cable originals, which is the highest NXT has ranked this year on Tuesday nights.
The show saw a 13 percent increase in its viewership while the key demo grew by 33 percent over last week’s show. It was the show’s largest audience since March 7.
In the 18-49 demographic, NXT saw a big increase of 56.5 percent among women 18-49 to its largest number since the Roadblock special on March 7 while males grew by 18 percent.
After a sizable in adults 18-34 last week, the show rebounded going from 0.09 to 0.13 this week.
Females 12-34 also normalized after a big decrease last week. In the demo, they more than doubled this week.
Adults 50+ grew by ten percent.
NXT aired against the Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat on TNT, which averaged 687,000 viewers and 0.22 in the demo followed by the Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans that topped cable with 1,255,000 viewers and 0.39 in the demo (the later game opposed the final 22 minutes of NXT including its seven-minute overrun segment involving Grayson Waller and Johnny Gargano). It also aired against a college and high school set of games on ESPN.
In Canada, NXT averaged approximately 79,000 viewers and 35,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. The viewership was up by 20 percent and the show’s largest since February 14 while the demo was flat with last week’s episode. The show did not rank among the top ten sports programs in the country on Tuesday.
