SmackDown after WrestleMania 39.
The April 7th edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX is going to be the first episode of the show post-WrestleMania 39.
For the second time this week, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque will be appearing on television. Levesque is scheduled for SmackDown and this past Monday, he kicked off Raw to ensure the public that WWE is not going anywhere.
There is going to be a six-man tag that’ll see The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Butch & Ridge Holland) take on Imperium (GUNTHER, Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser). GUNTHER pinned Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus was part of that Triple Threat.
Both Rey and Dominik Mysterio are slated for tag action. Rey is teaming with Santos Escobar to face Dominik and Damian Priest.
In addition to those bouts, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn is going one-on-one with Jey Uso.
