A new WWE series to premiere on The Roku Channel.

There is going to be a docuseries titled ‘WWE: Recruits’ coming to The Roku Channel. John Cena will be the producer for the show and he’ll appear in the eight-episode series.

WWE: Recruits will follow a group of men and women who have aspirations of joining the sports entertainment company. The likes of Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Bianca Belair are a part of the series.

Filming for it is underway and there was content shot over WrestleMania 39 weekend. A. Smith & Co. Productions, who produced Hell’s Kitchen and American Ninja Warrior, are behind the Roku Channel series.

Cena gave the following statement about it:

Millions around the world watch and dream of it, but only a handful of extraordinary individuals can become a WWE superstar. I am so excited to bring WWE: Recruits to The Roku Channel and look forward to giving viewers an exclusive all-access perspective on how the WWE turns the dreams of talented young people into a reality.

The 16-time WWE World Champion kicked off WrestleMania 39 and he fell in defeat to United States Champion Austin Theory.
