G1 Climax returns to the summer as New Japan releases schedule

New Japan Pro Wrestling has released the dates and venues for this year’s G1 Climax tournament.

After taking place throughout September and October in 2021 and 2022, this year marks a return to its traditional July/August slot.

The G1 Climax 33 will kick off on Saturday, July 15th and Sunday, July 16th in Hokkaido.

The semifinals will be held at Sumo Hall in Ryogoku on Saturday, August 12th, with the finals taking place at the same venue on Sunday, August 13th.

  • Night 3 — July 18th — Yamagata, Yamagata Sports Center

  • Night 5 — July 21st — Niigata, Aore Nagaoka
  • Night 6 — July 23rd — Nagano, Big Hat
  • Night 7 — July 25th — Korakuen Hall
  • Night 8 — July 26th — Korakuen Hall
  • Night 9 — July 27th — Tokyo, Ota-Ku Gymnasium
  • Night 10 — July 30th — Aichi, Dolphins Arena
  • Night 11 — August 1st — Takamatsu, Takamatsu Gymnasium
