Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz confirmed for eight-round boxing match in August

Jake Paul will face former UFC star Nate Diaz in an eight-round boxing match this summer.

A video announcement was posted to Diaz’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, with the fight billed for Saturday, August 5th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

WWE SummerSlam is set for the same date, emanating from Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan.

The Paul vs. Diaz fight will be contested at 185-pounds, with 10-ounce gloves. The event will be a 50:50 joint promotion between Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, and Nate Diaz’s Real Fight Inc.

The bout will headline a pay-per-view event to air on DAZN.

Paul is fresh from a split-decision loss to Tommy Fury in February. Diaz will be making his first foray into professional boxing.
