Jeff Hardy made his return from an indefinite suspension for a DUI incident on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Hardy had not been seen on AEW television since he was arrested on June 13th 2022.

After the arrest, he was suspended without pay by Tony Khan, who said that Hardy would not return until his legal issues were settled and he could demonstrate a satisfactory period of sobriety.

AEW also facilitated rehabilitation for the 45-year-old.

The legal case ended in February 2023 when Hardy entered a no-contest plea to the charges and accepted two years’ probation, a $4,000 fine, and a 10-year suspension of his driver’s license.

In storyline, Hardy returned to save his brother Matt, Isiah Cassidy and Hook from a beatdown at the hands of Ethan Page, Lee Moriarty and Big Bill of The Firm.

He ran to the ring with a chair as his music played, to a big reaction from the crowd. Hardy cleared the ring before hitting the Swanton Bomb on Moriarty.
