Thunder Rosa provided an update regarding her health status and how she has been portrayed on the AEW All Access show.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio with her co-host Dave LaGreca, Thunder Rosa stated that people initially doubted the severity of her back injury last summer, which forced her off the All Out pay-per-view, and an interim title was created.

Thunder Rosa says that all these months later, she is still not cleared and has had MRIs and epidurals and had another check-up last week with the pain still present in her back.

From her point of view, she wanted to drop the AEW Women’s Championship but it was Tony Khan’s decision to create the interim title and follow the precedent they had set when CM Punk was injured in June and Jon Moxley became the interim holder.

Toni Storm became the interim women’s champion and was later elevated to become the official champion when Thunder Rosa’s injury continued.

Thunder Rosa wants the focus to be on the women’s division and not on her while she is out. She said she has spoken to the women’s locker room and she apologized to those she felt she had outstanding issues with.

Later in the chat, Thunder Rosa says she wants to settle this with Britt Baker in the ring, so it definitely leads one to believe that is being amplified with the idea of working all of this for an on-screen payoff, which is evident given how it’s been portrayed on All Access.

Thunder Rosa has been present at the weekly tapings to provide Spanish-language commentary.
