Steve Maclin and KUSHIDA clashed to determine a new IMPACT World Champion but before the match began, Nick Aldis appeared and joined Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt on commentary. Aldis stated that he’s back with IMPACT Wrestling.

Aldis spent multiple years of his career with TNA/IMPACT. In 2022, he wrestled two matches for the company, one at Multiverse of Matches and the second at Slammiversary.
In November 2022, Aldis wrapped up his tenure with the National Wrestling Alliance.
