The UFC Champion attended Clash at the Castle in September.

Leon Edwards is coming off of defeating Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 to hold onto his Welterweight Championship. It is the second consecutive time that Leon bested Usman.

On the topic of the WWE and UFC merger, Edwards was asked by BBC Newsbeat if he’d be interested in competing in a match for WWE and here was his response:

Get me on the top rope, I’ll give it a go for sure. I actually went to the event last year in Cardiff, Clash at the Castle. I took my son, it’s quite similar and the fans are really similar.

Edwards told the outlet there is no clear number one contender for the Welterweight Championship. Dana White stated that Colby Covington is next in line.
