Rampage started off by jumping directly into Jon Moxley taking on Christopher Daniels. Moxley prevailed with the Bulldog Choke in just under nine minutes. After the match, Moxley shook Daniels’ hand and left through the crowd.

Backstage Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling were interviewed with Sterling saying they were going to get rid of Taya Valkyrie this week on Dynamite. Sterling also said they got a clause put into their match contract that Valkyrie cannot use Jaded / Road to Valhalla or will be disqualified.

Next up, Hook, The Hardys, and Isiah Kassidy came out to the ring. Jeff Hardy got on the mic and said that he’s worked so hard to get to this moment and he’s worked really hard to love himself again. Hardy said the smartest thing for him to do is to “retire… from screwing up!” and went on to say he’s here in AEW to end his career on an “extremely high note instead of a depressing low”. Before Matt could start talking about the Firm Deletion, Stokely Hathaway interrupted on the video screen. This allowed The Firm to jump the faces from behind much to the joy of Hathaway.

A recap of the Jericho/Outcasts attack on Britt Baker with Adam Cole handcuffed was shown along with a brief backstage video was shown with Cole apologizing to Britt Baker as she was being evaluated by the AEW medical staff.

A video aired featuring Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes aka “Naturally Limitless” aired with Rhodes comparing them to John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction. They said the team would “descend on Florida” next week on Rampage.

Julia Hart defeated Kiera Hogan with her submission finisher “Hartless” in just over three minutes. After the match, Anna Jay ran down and the two brawled until the referees separated them.  Jay had dark eye makeup on seemingly showing the effects of the black mist from the week prior.

Lexi Nair interviewed Christopher Daniels bringing up how he had earned the respect of Jon Moxley tonight. The Blackpool Combat Club interrupted and Jon Moxley attacked Daniels. Moxley said they never changed and it was “everyone else who is out of their damn minds”.

The unlikely pairing of FTR, Jeff Jarrett, and Jay Lethal took on The Varsity Athletes and Slim J. Shockingly, FTR couldn’t quite get along with Jarrett and Lethal but they still managed to get the win. The two teams started shoving each other after the match and Mark Briscoe separated them.

A promo package for Orange Cassidy aired, highlighting how he’s on one of the hottest runs in AEW right now. The question for this Wednesday’s Dynamite is whether or not Cassidy can successfully retain for a twentieth time or will Bandido dethrone him.

The main event was La Faccion Ingobernable’s Dralistico challenging El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship.

During the match, the other members of LFI were ejected from ringside by the referee. Dralistico thought he won with a submission but Vikingo hit the 630 splash for the win. After the match, LFI returned and attacked Vikingo and Vance hit the discus lariat to close out the show with Vikingo lying.
